This two-day workshop equips First Nations land managers to read and use the case law that governs their work, from the foundational decisions on reserve lands and Aboriginal title through the trends of the past decade. Participants also cover the contract, statutory interpretation, and tort principles that decide land files, and leave able to keep current as the law changes and know when to call legal counsel. No legal background required.
