This 3-day training provides you with the tools, strategies, and materials you will need as Lands Managers to understand the basics of Geographic Information Systems, and how this technology could be implemented and used in your organization and your community. The training provides you with a hands-on learning experience to teach you the basics of GIS for Lands Management.

Sponsorship: Up to $2,000 per First Nation. Please refer to NALMA’s Education Policy (page17-20). As space is limited, only one representative per First Nation will be accepted. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis

Hold Harmless Provision

Attendance Provision
By checking “yes” I understand and agree that attendance will be taken each morning at Specialized Training sessions to confirm each participant’s presence. Registrants to NALMA’s Specialized Training are required to attend and complete each session to be eligible for reimbursement of costs as well as to receive a Certificate.
