Level II: Technical Training
Level II: Technical Training, provided by NALMA, focuses on the specific roles and responsibilities of a First Nation Land Manager operating under the Indian Act (RLEMP). This training is also valuable for First Nations managing lands under the Indian Act or other land regimes. Level II enhances skills, knowledge, and awareness of best practices in land management.
Students will learn basic concepts and knowledge that govern land management activities, assisting them in their role as a Land Manager. Technical Training equips students with skills such as interpreting policies and procedures, identifying the relevant authorities, and understanding the legal rules that enable or constrain land management decisions.
2025-26 Application for Admission
