NALMA (National Aboriginal Lands Managers Association) is launching an important initiative to establish core competencies among members in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology.

We want to hear from YOU! Share your experiences and insights to help us create focus groups that will drive the effective development and use of GIS within lands departments.

Survey Focus

Assess current GIS skills and knowledge within lands departments.
Identify training needs and resource gaps.
Design focused materials and support to improve GIS use and integration.

How It Works:

  • Complete Part I of the Survey – Your insights will influence our phased approach.

This survey will take place in 2 phases and will play a key role in helping us understand the varying needs, skills, and interests within each lands department and will help us identify focus areas for further development.

The Part II follow-up survey will build upon the insights gathered in Part I and will delve deeper into the specific needs and aspirations as it pertains to GIS technology and its application.
