Developing and Writing Effective Proposals-Laurence Bilodeau, Program Manager, NWT Region, CIRNAC (1 day)
A well-written proposal that is easily understood with rationale to support the need in addition to clear goals and a solid workplan is necessary for funding to be attained. This one-day workshop will examine the art of proposal writing.
Indigenous Project Management Fundamentals-Sheila Niganobe & Kimberly Gorgichuk, Ajijaak Project Management Services (2 days)
The training program is designed to cover the fundamental aspects of project management through an Indigenous lens, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects. It emphasizes the importance of wise practices and sustainable development. The training will be delivered through a combination of lectures, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises.
