Training Description: (3 days) This training has been developed as a practical aid for First Nations’ use in the task of adopting a land regime that suit their needs. The training provides an understanding of the roles and responsibilities associated with opting into the land management regimes under the Indian Act: Reserve Lands and Environmental Management Program (RLEMP); First Nations Land Management Act (FNLMA); and Comprehensive Self-Government.
Each training session will accommodate 20 Land Managers. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. NALMA will only accept 1 registration per First Nation. Others will be considered based on availability.
